ONEHOPE Wines For A Cause

July 26, 2016 by Dawn Pasco

ONEHOPE Wine Tasting

Are you interested in drinking wine, socializing with friends and helping make the world a better place? I am, so when my neighbor Kelly shared with me the mission of ONEHOPE  I agreed to host a wine tasting and share their story on my blog.  I believe in celebrating, connecting with others and making an impact in my own small way.  ONEHOPE provides an opportunity to do that through the purchase of their products. They began with their award-winning wine and have expanded into gourmet coffee and gift boxes.

ONEHOPE Wines

I ‘d been wanting to have some friends over this summer and the wine tasting was a great way to entertain as well as give back. We sampled 10 bottles of wine including a sparkling Brut.  Each bottle supports a different cause.  ONE HOPE has made an impact in many ways such as: feeding meals to hungry children in the United States, providing behavioral therapy for children with autism, helping veterans continue their service through disaster relief, providing cancer screenings, providing shelter for animals and planting trees for reforestation projects.

ONEHOPE Wines for a Cause

You can see the impact ONEHOPE has made to this date below.   The wines are crafted in collaboration with Rob Mondavi, Jr., and half the profits of each bottle is donated to a social cause.

One Hope Impact

If you choose to host a wine tasting ONEHOPE also gives 15 % of your sales to the cause of your choice.  I chose Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer which is a cause that is local.

ONEHOPE wine

A lot of thought went into the design of the ONEHOPE labels.  The dots represent a statistic which is listed on the back label. For the Pinot Noir the fact is it’s estimated that approximately 50% of animals in shelters will find homes live casino go.  This bottle helps fund a pet adoption so every animal finds a loving home.  Every cork also has a quote on it. If you follow my blog regularly you know how I love a good quote.

ONEHOPE Glitter Edition

The sparkling Brut glitter bottles make a special wedding or anniversary gift.  Each bottle of the sparkling brut in silver glitter supports 15 meals to one hungry child in the U.S. and the Pinot Noir red glitter edition educates five people on their risk of heart disease.

ONEHOPE Wine Pairing

The wine tasting was an easy party to throw together and my Cause Entrepreneur viaONEHOPE (CEO) Kelly created and sent out my invitations.  I just needed to be home to sign for the wine which came to straight to my door. I purchased some meats, cheeses and crackers to go with the wine.  Kelly provided me with a ONEHOPE wine and food pairing  list which took out all of the guess-work on what to serve.  I naturally had to include a few dessert options.  Everyone knows wine pairs well with chocolate.

ONEHOPE Pinot for Paws

My dog Fritz is never one to miss a party especially when there is food involved and women who will love on him.  I think ONEHOPE needs to adopt him as their poster dog for Pinot for Paws.  What do you think?

If you are interested in hosting a wine tasting to support the cause of your choice or purchase corporate gifts you can contact Kelly at kellyhnks@msn.com.  You can also shop for products on her website.

The reason why he looks so comfortable is because you were holding him 🙂 Thanks for being part of my photo and taking such good care of my dog.

What a great project! I love this idea. Anytime you can support a good cause and share that with friends to expand the reach is a great opportunity. I will look into this wine and sharing this experience myself. Your photographs are wonderful!

Chloe this is right up your alley with all of the entertaining that you do 🙂 Everyone enjoyed most of the wines and it’s nice that you can taste them before purchasing if you host a tasting.

I love the project. I bought a case last month of several selections. I thought it would be nice to have on hand for a unique gift.

I agree Kristin. I love to give wine as a hostess gift and the proceeds go to great causes.

My wine was delivered on Thursday, so speedy service. Looking forward to sharing with others. The party was so much fun and exactly what I needed, always good to get together with friends. Thanks again for inviting me. And agree that Fritz should be the poster pup, your pictures of the party are beautiful.
