Top 5 Personality Quizzes

 

 

I’ve recently come across a lot of quizzes on Facebook.  I think I’ve mentioned before how I love to take quizzes. Not just any quiz though, they have to be fun, tell you something about your personality and based on picking random images.   I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 quizzes that I’ve recently taken. These short quizzes reveal something about your personality based on random images or qualities that you pick.  I would love to know the rationalization behind how the results are determined.  Is there some specific formula that’s been coded intothe computer that’s based upon hours and hours of research and data?  I’m curious, but for the time being I’ll just have fun taking these random quizzes.  Some results I’ve been pleased with and others I think I need a retake.

Those of you that are Catholic know that this Wednesday started the beginning of Lent.  I have friends that give up alcohol, sugar, sodas and other vices.  The last several years instead of giving something up I try to add something positive.  The minute I say I’m going to deprive myself of something I only want it more and can’t stop thinking about it.  If you like giving something up for Lent here is a quiz for you, What should you give up for Lent? .  I took it and my answer was meat.  Every good Catholic isn’t supposed to eat meat on Fridays during Lent.  I’m not a good Catholic, sometimes I do.  Giving up meat isn’t a big sacrifice for me, so I’m not sure I agree with this answer.  I like meat, but I’d take a cheese pizza over steak any day.

The next quiz is Which Dream Home Should You Actually Live In?  It’s my dream to have a beach house.  I even have a Pinterest board titled Coastal Living where I’m collecting ideas on how I want to decorate it. My answer was a cozy library in Wisconsin.  I agree with the library part since I love books, but Wisconsin.  I’ve never been to Wisconsin and I’m sure it’s lovely.  I know they have lakes, but I was imagining a more tropical climate.  I think I need a retake!

I love the television show Modern Family.  I don’t necessarily have a favorite character on the show (ok, maybe Cam), but they all make me laugh.   Which Modern Family character are you?  My answer was Mitchell.  He wasn’t exactly who I pictured, but I do see a few similarities in our personalities.

Another favorite television show of mine is Downton Abbey.  I’m sad that their season has ended already although this year’s season finale ended on a much happier note than last years.  I found this quiz through Thistlewood Farms.   Which Downton Abbey character are you?  I’m happy to report my answer was Anna.  I love Anna, but my favorite character is Grandma Violet.

I’m always striving to be a better person and love, forgive and see things through the eyes of Jesus.  This can be really difficult  sometimes ( ok, maybe most of the time).  I’m in a Bible study class and learning about the disciples so I was curious about this quiz,  Which one of Jesus’ Disciples are you?  My answer was Philip.  I don’t know much about him, but I guess I should start reading up on him.
