Nothing Bundt Cakes

There’s a new store in my town called Nothing Bundt Cakes located at 13420 Metcalf Ave., in the Shoppes at Deer Creek.  My friend Mary who loves to scout out new places shared this cute little store with me.  Nothing Bundt Cakes was started by two friends Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz.  The cake is extremely moist and made with the finest premium ingredients.    There are a variety of flavors to choose from: Red Velvet, Carrot, Lemon, Cinnamon Swirl, White White Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Raspberry, Marble and Pecan Praline.  They also feature a seasonal flavor.  Can you guess what this month is?  You guessed it, Pumpkin Spice.

There’s also a variety of options for purchasing a bundt cake. One option is bundtinis which are single bite size servings and sold by the dozen for $16.50.  I purchased three bundtlets for my family.  A bundlet is a little individual cake which is enough for two people to thoroughly enjoy.  The frosting is delicious and just enough.  We tried the carrot, red velvet and white chocolate raspberry.  We all enjoyed our cakes.  My only criticism is I thought the white chocolate raspberry needed more raspberry in it.  There was just a hint of slivers of raspberry and I was expecting more of a filling.

The bundtlets would make a nice little gift for someone and you can get them beautifully wrapped with cellophane and colorful ribbon for $5.99.  They also sell 8 and 10 inch bundt cakes which would be great for family gatherings, birthdays or corporate gifts.  An 8 inch cakes sells for $18.50 and decorated $29.50 and 10 inch cakes are $28.50 and decorated $39.50.  I introduced a few friends to the store and they wound up ordering a pumpkin spice cake with a cute turkey topper for Thanksgiving.  These cakes aren’t what I would consider cheap, but they are a special treat, taste great and are beautifully packaged.

You can click on Nothing Bundt Cakes to see if there is a store in your area and to look at all of their special occasion toppers. If you are a baker and like to make your own bundt cakes, I think there is some inspiration to be found in their beautiful packaging for different holidays and events.  I’m always on the lookout for cute packaging for baked goods.  At the very least, maybe this post has made you think of the bundt cake scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.  I didn’t remember it, but two of my friends were laughing and quoting me lines from the movie when I told them about Nothing Bundt Cakes.  Are you a fan of BundT cakes?

Wow, those are really pretty. I love bundt cakes, and have a couple of recipes that my mom always makes and are always a hit. But I can never make my icing perfect like mom or these ladies. THAT is an ART! beautiful.

I think they’re really pretty too. I don’t know if I’ve ever made a cake in a bundt pan. I’m always afraid I won’t be able to get it out of the pan. I know where I can buy a good one though 🙂

I love the chocolate chocolate chip. I agree their icing is the best part!

You made me crave the lemon one, and I’m on a plane…so a visit to my new favorite place is not happening!

I’ll have to try the lemon. I love the flavor of lemon. Slowly, but surely I’ll have to make my way through them all.

Those look so good! There is nothing like having a great bakery nearby! I haven’t seen anyone selling these cute little bundt cakes though!
