Talenti Gelato

In case you haven’t noticed, I have an obsession with anything that is made with the combination of sea salt and caramel.  I particularly like the two ingredients when they are combined with chocolate.  While we were on vacation in England we passed  several places that sold gelato.  One of the gals on our tour would order gelato every opportunity she got.  I’ve had gelato before, but there’s nothing like eating it in Italy or a country like England full of Italians.  We ate at some really good Italian restuarants while we were in England, but I never got around to trying the gelato.  It was one of the things I regretted not ordering.

When I returned from my trip I received a text from my friend Mary telling me to buy Talenti’s Sea Salt Caramel Gelato.  My gelato fix has now  been taken care of and I no longer have any regrets.  Talenti’s Sea Salt Caramel Gelato is heavenly.  It glided off my spoon with ease as I scooped it out of it’s clear plastic container.  No muscle or special ice cream scoop required.  Talenti Gelato comes in several different flavors such as chocolate peanut butter cup, chocolate mint and banana chocolate swirl to name a few.  Talenti also makes sorbets.  I haven’t tried the sorbet yet.  Talenti’s gelatos are made with fresh hormone free milk and only pure cane sugar.  They also have 30% less fat than regular ice cream. Talenti is sold at Target, Price Chopper, and most major grocery stores.  If you click on the link to their website it lists all of the stores where it’s sold.

This is my own personal opinion and I wasn’t compensated in any way for this post.  If Talenti would like to send me some free gelato though I’ll gladly take it.

I had a friend try some today, but it didn’t glide quite as easily from the spoon. I think Target’s freezer must not have been as cold.

oh great Dawn. I’ve done some extensive research since we saw each other. I’ve found that out of the SIX flavors I’ve tried….Caramel Cookie Crunch is by far THE BEST. Second I have to say is Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip. Tahitian Vanilla Bean is realy good, and Carribean Coconut is nice as well. I only got 4 bites of the Sea Salt Caramel. The rest of it disappeared…..

I found the Hen House has the best flavor selections. Oh wow. it’s good. TOO GOOD!!

You make me laugh. You have done some research. I haven’t had the caramel cookie crunch or the others you mentioned. I have the coconut in my freezer, but haven’t tried it yet. Another friend had recommended it. It looks like I’ll be making a trip to Hen House:) You would make a great research assistant!
