Guest Bloggers

When I began blogging a lot of my friends didn’t know what a blog was.  My blog is the first blog they’ve ever read and I’m honored that they take the time to read it.  Over the last year I’ve learned quite a bit about the blog world.  Not only the technical aspects of blogging, but the importance of a mention on another blog, comments, facebook likes, tweets and pinterest pins.  Most blog readers (myself included) don’t always take that extra one minute to do some of these things after they read a blog post.  However, I’ve come to learn it’s important to bloggers because that’s how we know if you enjoyed a post and it helps us in planning future posts.  Even though most of the time “it’s all about me,” I really want my readers to feel like they are getting something out of reading my blog.  If you really enjoy a post please consider sharing it on other social media platforms like twitter, facebook or pinterest.  It helps broaden a blogger’s readership and I personally would like my blog to grow.

One of the benefits of blogging has been getting to know fellow bloggers.  I’m taking a little break this week and have invited two ladies to share their work.  Louise at 30’s Magazine and Stacey at Likes to Smile.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know both of these ladies through their blogs and email correspondence.  I’m appreciative of their support and hope that you’ll give them a warm welcome in the form of a comment or share.  Also, if you are like me and like to follow several blogs you can do so at BlogLovin.  You will get an email update for all of your favorite blogs.
