I am currently residing in Seaside, Florida for a getaway weekend with my husband. The beach is one of my favorite places on earth. It’s a simple joy to walk the beach and listen to the sound of the ocean. It’s very peaceful to me. This is the view from our quaint little balcony where I sit typing this and enjoying my morning cup of coffee. I’m not sure if it has something to do with the view, but it’s a great tasting cup of coffee. I definitely feel blessed right now especially since it was snowing yesterday at home.
I also enjoy lounging in a beach chair while reading a good book and sipping a cocktail with a fancy little umbrella in it. I will hopefully be doing that later today. I hope you find some simple joys today. Cheers!

Yes… well, that “snow day” here in KC was my birthday. Ya. May 2. Go figure – Ha! But Seaside… That’s a big “YAY”!!! Love Seaside and the whole Sandestin/Destin area!! Wish it would have been super sunny while you were there… 🙁
