Sibling Love

I love the innocence and the genuine display of admiration in this photo.  It depicts a moment of sibling love.  Siblings seem to forget about these early moments as they get older and younger siblings often become annoyances.   It’s times like these that make mother’s everywhere smile.

My friend JJ shared this photo of her daughter and youngest son on facebook and it’s just too cute not to share with you all.  The beautiful baby boy, Charlie (whose bald head you only see) was an unplanned and surprise blessing to their family.  His sister Abby (pictured in the photo) already having an older brother was hoping for a sister.  As you can clearly see by the big smile on her face,  Charlie hasn’t disappointed her despite the fact he’s not a girl.  It’s as if Charlie is saying to Abby, “I see you and you’re beautiful.”  As far as I know, two seconds after the click of the camera phone he may have been trying to pull her hair.  However, I wish to stick  with my first thought.

I couldn’t leave you with just the above photo though because Charlie is a very happy boy and has one of the best smiles just like his Mom.
