Valentine’s Beverages

In case you’re short on time or don’t want to make cookies, I thought I’d share a few cute Valentine’s day drink ideas.  I found both of these ideas on Pinterest.  You can find all of the details on Smart School House.  To make the pink cocoa you can use white cocoa and a teeny drop of red food coloring or strawberry milk.  This would also make a cute drink for a girl’s birthday party.

This idea comes from A Subtle Revelry via Pinterest.  I love that it’s simple, but gives milk and cookies an extra dose of love.  I personally love milk and cookies.  For more Valentine’s inspiration you can check out my board Inspire Love on Pinterest.

wine

Last but not least one of my favorite beverages is a glass of red wine and it’s good for the heart.  I love Apothic Red and according to Cate at Buckley’s Wine Market Cryptic is a local favorite.

We will have to try Cryptic. Love Apothic Red too!

I like Apothic Red better, but give it a try. It could have had to do with what I was eating at the time.

Thanks for the red wine suggestion! I will have to see if I can buy it for Valentine’s day. Also wanted to let you know that thanks to your December favorite things party I now have a new favorite lotion from Bath & Body Works the Energy Orange Ginger Body Lotion. What a great idea you had for everyone to bring their favorite item. I never would of tried this lotion and now I love it.

Hi Jill, I can’t remember if you had a glass of wine at book club, but if so I’m almost certain it was the Apothic Red. It has been my go to wine this winter and very reasonable, around $10 a bottle. I will have to try the Bath & Body Works lotion. I don’t think I’ve smelled that one and I could use more energy 🙂

I just had the Cryptic Red Blend at a wine tasting last weekend. It was my favorite of the night!

Good picks, Dawn! The conversation cocoa picture is just down right pretty. I made a trip to Lukas Liquor for Jacob’s Valentine’s Day present…some new Whiskey. 🙂
