This picture of my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and daughter makes me smile.  We were enjoying a nice spring day and I was practicing taking photos with my new camera.  I can’t remember what possessed these three to break out into meditation poses.  My sister-in-law keeps this picture on her desk and whenever she is feeling stressed out from her job, she takes a minute to look at it and have a zen moment.  Her brother Jason seated beside her has down syndrome.  He has been a blessing to my husband, his family and almost everyone he meets.  Jason can be extremely strong willed, impatient and challenging at times, but he is full of love and passionate about  life.  He reminds me to look forward to the simple things in life.  Jason loves watching baseball and wrestling, playing uno,  hot dogs, pizza and hugs.  He also enjoys watching live music even though he is deaf and loves to serenade us with his guitar.  I hope you take the time during this busy holiday season to enjoy a little zen moment.
