Elves try to stick to four main food groups, candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup. – Buddy from the movie ELF

I think I may be related to elves somewhere down my genealogy line.  I love sugar.  This time of year my candy of choice is candy corn.  Not just any candy corn, it has to be Brachs.  Sometimes all of that sugary goodness has to be mixed in with a little salt.  A few years ago my neighbor Betsy shared with me her mixture of candy corn and peanuts.  It tastes just like a Babe Ruth.  Now I’m hooked and always mix my candy corn with peanuts.   I found the above recipes through pinterest.  I haven’t made them yet, but I thought they looked easy, good and are a nice blend of sugar and salt mixed together.  If you click under the picture on the site name, you will be directed to the website with the recipe.  They have all kinds of sugary goodness to share.
