Christmas Cards

November 26, 2012 by Dawn Pasco

I love getting Christmas cards in the mail.  When my kids were younger it used to be somewhat stressful trying to take just the right photo and coming up with something different and creative.  I’m pretty crafty, but I like crafts that don’t take a lot of time to make.  I can get impatient instead of enjoying the process.  I recently started following the Paper Mama’s blog.  When I saw her Christmas card I thought it was so clever and funny.  I just had to share it because it made me smile.  I don’t have photoshop, and I probably wouldn’t have the patience required to make a card like this.  I appreciate the outcome and effort put into it though.  We had our family picture professionaly taken this year so my Christmas card was easy to put together via shutterfly.  However, if you have photoshop Paper Mama’s card may help to get your creative juices flowing. The tutorial can be found here.  As I’ve gotten older,  I put less pressure on myself to create the perfect Christmas card which has made the season more joyous.
